Though the romance between Molly and John is sometimes forced-John is inexplicably drawn to her from the get-go before we get any real feel for Molly as a character-Cabot still delivers on the classic warm fuzzies we all know and love from The Princess Diaries. Little Bridge Island is a charming town full of lovable characters and quirky traditions. No Offense is a lighthearted, feel-good read that is easy to fall into. As Molly becomes more and more involved in the mystery of who left the baby in the bathroom, she also gets closer to John. Luckily for her, the investigator of the case is the tall, handsome, and newly single, John Hartwell. Molly has just started to settle into her new environment when she finds a newborn abandoned in the library restroom. The latest in this contemporary adult series is No Offense, the story of an eccentric librarian named Molly Montgomery, who has recently relocated to the Florida Keys after breaking it off with her fiancé. Meg Cabot has a new series to offer to fans who loved The Princess Diaries and are all grown up now: The Little Bridge Island saga.
